Going Global - Funding Desperately Needed - 03/20/2007

The Jimi Hendrix/James Marshall Hendrix Foundation, not to be confused with the EXPERIENCE HENDRIX, AUTHENTIC HENDRIX, ELECTRIC HENDRIX, or THE HOUSE OF HENDRIX, is planning a fund raising drive to finance two of its top programs, the MUSIC FOR LIFE program and our STEM CELL RESEARCH program.

We are a non-profit, charitable foundation not connected to any other Hendrix organization.

We are in desperate need of funds to do our good works on an international scale. And we have a commitment to use these funds exclusively to benefit needy youth and youth organizations all over the world.

A donation as little as ten dollars (USD) would be a tremendous help!

Seattle Times Article - Retraction - 02/09/2007

"A clarification of information in this article, originally published February 6, 2007, was added February 9, 2007. A previous version of this story contained an inaccurate statement by James E. Williams, the president and CEO of the Jimi Hendrix Foundation. Jimi Hendrix did not die of alcoholism, as stated by Williams in Nicole Brodeur's column. Williams said he misspoke; and that Hendrix died after ingesting sleeping pills with alcohol."

POLICY STATEMENT - Protecting Jimi's Identity - 01/26/2007

When Al Hendrix, the father of Jimi Hendrix commissioned the Jimi Hendrix Foundation (a.k.a. the James Marshall Hendrix Foundation), he wanted his son recognized and remembered for good and charitable deeds done in his name for the 'community'. The term community meaning the world community at large.
